Thanks duke, unfortunately we were tired and decided to go straight to pret near the station. It's going to be mental riding back home now...

A mental battle against taking the train home

Big thanks to Hoke and Howard for a great pre-Xmas blast. I took the bail-out-at-Cambridge lite option so am currently thoroughly enjoying a nice warm train carriage all to myself (strangely)... the possibilities are endless. Good ride back chaps...

Bailed at Roydon - 105 fixeh miles is enough for my legs.
@hoke is pressing on alone - #pray4hoke

Respect. Even cycling back from Liv St to Brixton I was thinking I really wouldn't fancy that headwind all the way back from Cambridge 😳

we just did 100 miles in essex, mad windy .. garmin fucked the route up so no blackmore tea rooms but had a pizza at franco manca on broadway market on the way back. First long ride where I didn't have a coffee and/or cake. Whole loaf of soreen tho.

Very impressive, I had to settle for some regents laps and as much as that tail wind would have been enjoyable I know I would have bailed at the station rather than face it head on! And fixed to boot? Mega strong.

Did you go past any groups today? I headed to those sides too

Bravo you two. Looked very windy today from the comfort of my parents living room.
Sorry, but I will also have to bail Hoke :(
Been sick all day and still have too much to do for baby's first Christmas.
Good luck on festive 500!
