Is a 1x11 road bike actually any good if you want to use it semi-seriously though? Or will you be constantly shifting trying (and failing) to find your sweet spot for cadence?
I have 1x10 on my cx (thougu use it with slicks as a road) and I feel like I need in between gears some days.
I had 1x10 on my road bike (road 11-28 cassette) for ages and it was fine on flat cheshire rides and up in the peaks too
7 road bikes in the house 2 front mechs
