does the forum now delete threads started by a user when their account is deleted?
I think their posts are owned by a special user, called 'deleted'. TV started the EU referendum thread for example, and now it's owned by deleted.
Maybe events, as a special type of post, just die?
More annoyingly my PM's to folks who have pressed the nuclear button are now all between myself and 'deleted'.

Ta. Yeah I sort of knew that and just checked that was still the case, but if you put 'essex loop' into the search and click on the results what's going on there?
Oh, events. Yes that would make sense. That's still a big shame though as there have been some classic rides where it would be a real shame if the whole thread got nuked.
@Velocio ? Can you make events not disappear like that as events are rides and rides are important?

Yeah, Saarf just disappeared and these were the last of his comments, now under @deleted
That's a shame, I always enjoyed his posts.
TV specifically aside though, does the forum now delete threads started by a user when their account is deleted? His Essex loop threads come up in search but now seem to be totally gone.
This seems like a flaw. There are many threads which the forum would be worse without and if they can be nuked by the OP deleting their account that doesn't seem like a good thing...
