Assembled (loosely):
Remove end-cap, what's that skip?
It's a washer:
Which was binding the end-cap to the bearing and the inner face of the freehub:
As we can see when we look at the other face of the washer:
And now that the washer is removed everything works.

That's an MW079, I dunno if you should be messing with an MW079.

Needs about 1kg more grease. Acts like an inverse shim.

No gratuitous shot of toes. 7 / 10

Where can I find 2.5mm thick spacers with a 24mm internal diameter?

That's an MW079, I dunno if you should be messing with an MW079.
That's part of an FSA self-extracting crank assembly, not a DT Swiss hub part, so you are correct.
Shop said that it was in the hub when I gave it to them (mysteriously, as it'd never been built), between the MTB freehub and the 12mm bolt-thru endcap, so they carefully removed it from there and put it in between the new 11 speed road freehub and 10mm bolt-thru endcap.

This isn't right. Need a 130bcd 42tooth singlespeed chainring to purchase between Paddington and Bermondsey.
Any shops likely to have this in stock?

Anyone tried the Miche 11spd Campag cassettes? Not a lot of reviews out there but generally positive, and they're half the price of Chorus...
-
• #81067
Shimano (or lesser Campag) don't do the ratios you're after?
-
• #81068
They work, as in the chain does move up and down the cassette.
They're found on lower tier bicycles equipped with Campagnolo, and specifically designed for the Miche freehubs only, not that one luckily.
Could you not go for the Shimano cassette if they're cheaper?
-
• #81069
Chorus is the lesser 11spd Campag group set (Potenza isn't cheap yet).
I've already got Campag wheels so locked in and yeah, a Campag 12-27 is pretty much perfect for me.

Miche freehub?

Chorus is the lesser 11spd Campag group set...
Sorry, didn't get the memo: just been catching-up on the catalogues.
How any reasonable person is supposed to know what's going on is beyond me: groupsets seem to appear and disappear at random.

Is there any requirement/advantage to having two identical model SSDs when creating a striped RAID 0 setup using software RAID?
-
• #81073
I used to use them when I was using Campag for cx. They worked fine, no discernible degradation in shifting quality, seemed to last well despite the abuse they were getting.

right , what is the worst that can happen by putting a 28c tyre on a 19mm width rim ?
-

Its the ideal size according to the late great Sheldon Brown.
Table towards the bottom of the page.

Assuming you've got the bike assembled, did it work before you put the cassette on?
