I've destroyed the bearings and broken pawls before.

What's the point of having spares when just the teeth for WI cost more than the clickster, which is about the only thing needing replacing ever?

I've never tried but have read it's difficult to remove the bearing from the teeth and so, you should factor on replacing it when you replace the teeth.
