  • Right I might get hammered for this but I think it's sneaky! I was recently in discussions to buy a Campy groupset from cybernck recently but all he could offer was a direct bank transfer as a payment option! I said I would only pay using Paypal and the sale fell through.

    Quoting @cybernck

Even if I were able to take PayPal payment for the groupset, it normally takes 30-60 days for payments to propagate for withdrawal and at the moment all the funds are in the "pending period" and I can't withdraw any money, while having paid for loads of items to be shipped recently - my hands are currently tied up and I couldn't pay for postage of your parts - so the sale would be pointless.

With Azimo I get an instant cash payout and can ship without worries and buy other things too.

So, for now, at least until some money propagates, so I can withdraw it and receive more payments - it's a no go, sorry.

Oh but that didn't stop him posting it on Ebay with Paypal as an option the very same day!

Dude our business is concluded! You might have good feedback here but outright lying gets you found out!

  • To be fair, just because something is posted on ebay with paypal as an option, doesn't mean the seller prefers to use it. Paypal on ebay is poison for sellers, but you can't list without offering it.

  • Please read the BS he gave me saying why he couldn't accept paypal when quite obviously he was able to for the "right price" ! Think that's sneaky and underhand! At the very least it's not being an honest seller!
