Also work got me a Dell XPS which I was really liking but it has now died twice in two weeks, meaning that I've lost 4 days work over that period (due to only saving locally). Is a Macbook a poor choice for a work laptop?
I have one of the retina Macbook. Great battery life & super portable.
Depends what you're doing but if you've got an external screen, then PowerPoint etc is more than fine.
Basic excel work, powerpoints, taking to meetings etc.
Lack of ports not an issue?
