Haven't posted in here for a while but finally finished my new set up today - it sounds amazing. Gonna get my decks upgraded with mastersounds stuff then some Quad 2 monoblocks.

sweet setup, proper NY garage tackle
i used to have a vestax isolator with sub, bass, mid and high. it became faulty so i got an e&s but it only had bass mid and high and i always missed the extra knob. how long until you get the eq-6 so you get isolator rights over all the channels and an fx loop?

Bozak mixer AND isolator 😱👌🏼💥

Think the eq-6 would be a bit of an overkill. Happy with it now. The sound even through my Marantz amp is pretty amazing.

I wanna get a 2 channel isolator.
Dope Real?
Any others?

Or ask e&s to make you one.
It's also about whose frequency range you like, in terms of where the crossover points are and how sharply they respond etc.
My e&s sounds nicer than my vestax one did, but the vestax had a greater/sharper cutting effect curve.

I've seen those Omnitronic. Aren't they supposed to be a bit muddy, bit grainy?
I've got a Vestax at the mo too but been in the old dears loft for 6 yrs

The omnitronic is suspisciously cheap.
Perhaps dig out your vestax and buy a 2nd hand one?

Could we back it up a bit to '88 ? By the time Acid Thunder arrived the scene was on it's knees.

Liking the club scenes from this one, slow lasers, properly sweaty dancers.

Had the privilege of seeing a Giles Peterson DJ set in Birmingham the other weeek... never have I ever seen a dance floor jump around so much. One of the greatest I've seen next to Theo Parrish...
