agreed it's probably not worth the hassle. There's a way to add to the "list all modes" which is s called something like the "EDID information". From memory it's manually editing the list in the registry, which is a complete pain. The other thing is maybe have a look for a new .inf for your monitor from the manufacturer.

Thanks, but no dice. I'll stick with VGA.
Just seems odd (to a layman) that DVI>VGA, is "better" than DVI>DVI (albeit two different versions).
