It's too dark to take a photo in my garage so the below is a perfect example I've found online. The problem I have found on a newly acquired Flandria that the head of the the seatpost bolt seems to have been over tightened by the previous owner(s). It has therefore pulled through the bolt hole and is effectively acting upon absolutely nothing. I was going to cut off the lugholes and get a clamp to fit over the top of the seatpost but like the picture the top of the seatpost tube is not straight-cut. Is there anything that can solve my problem other than a nut, bolt and washer?
