Where can I pick up one of these in London that isn't the Lee Valley?
Edit: Condor to the rescue.

Received a parcel from the US, -arrived today and it has a big fat custom charges sticker on it however I have the parcel already... should I pay it or have Royal Mail messed up? Will they hunt me down if I don't??

I have the parcel already
Delete your post and deny all knowledge if anybody asks.

Go to the sorting office with proof of ID, address and a note of the tracking number
My local office says they can only arrange another delivery attempt if you don't have the card.

what is WEST PDO?
I think it's the Parcel Force depot at Concord Road W3 0TH

They tend to send repeated letters if they want money

You'll get an invoice in the post if the fees are outstanding but they may have been charged back to the sender... Do you know the shipping terms?
-
• #80939
Haven't received any letters so far. There is a message on the label which says do not deliver until fees have been paid so I feel Royal Mail may have fucked up. No reason why they'd charge the sender either. Will keep an eye out

Just leave the cassette on and shorten the chain.

So my front wheel is still juddering under braking. It's only this wheel that does it. I've tried toeing in the pads, not toeing in the pads. Cleaning the brake tracks. Brand new pads. Still no joy
Could it be the hubs? It's one of these:
The caps feel a bit loose, I can tilt them etc. But when its all compressed with the skewer I can't detect any play. Are the caps supposed to be a bit loose when the wheel isn't mounted?

Headset?
-
• #80950
Why would the headset react differently to other wheels?
"PDO – Delivery Office. A local Royal Mail office where the item has been delivered from."
Likely to be the district sorting office: if you ask in your Post Office (or your postie), no doubt they can tell you.
