Gift cards - I was going to buy one for my brother in law but balked at the £5 P&P (just to send a card through royal mail within the UK!) So I'd rather not, just out of principle (not because I'm a Christmas humbug...)
I don't buy 'high end' cycle gear so I don't really know the market - are there other similar brands to Rapha I could get a gift card from?

Yeah but who wants to receive an email for Christmas?
-
• #27631
Print the email and put it in a card
-
• #27632
Ha. Please, it's a Luxury HTML email gift delivered straight to a chosen one's inbox.
Isadore (perfect shorts) or Café du Cycliste (great jerseys) are just two alternatives, though if you know your b-i-l loves Rapha...

Put the card in a box with a brick and wrap it up.

Honestly, if he's a Rapha fanboi then he'd rather receive a Rapha Giftcard on a bit of chewed yellowed paper than a smart gift card in a box from a competitor.

Good points, well made

The physical gift cards are annoying, I preferred receiving the emailed vouchers.
Is quite fun to mail the cards to other people after you have used the codes.

Ha, twisted.

Condor gift card? I think they've stopped selling Rapha now but they have lots of other drool worthy stuff in there.

Has anyone got a Pro team jacket they'd like to off load?

Hi @BobbyBriggs, I have a spare like-new Rapha embossed black envelope if you'd like to buy it? £5 plus £5 p&p

I got a gift card last year which I still haven't used. It's bit of a faff if I'm to be honest/picky (first world problems) as can't be used with other seasonal promotions (only 1 code can be entered per transaction) and e-gift cards aren't accepted in store (I'm next to the Spitalfields branch). I need to spend it soon though as they are only valid for a year.

That sounds a bit rubbish on the multiple codes thing.
Can you return things bought on-line to store?
They need a decent omnichannel project. -

Yup. Did a big shop when they did a 20% off earlier in the year and couldn't use the e-card along with the promotional code. They also don't accept them in store which is the biggest faff as I am close by so paying for postage seems a little unnecessary. My gift card is for £25 so I am sure it'd be much less of a problem if it were for a larger amount.
I assume you can buy and return to store but am not fully sure.

Unfortunately it's buy online, return by post. Buy in store, return in store. Their operations don't overlap that way.

30% for Porsche owners!

Can someone then send me the discount code for the Rapha + Koenigsegg partnership if it's working on this scale?
-

Does the sale start Boxing Day?

• #27649
Usually before Christmas

What are peoples experience of regular v long PT bibs. I'm 6ft4 with a regular distribution of legs and torso. It seems to make sense to go for long but they only do them in one colour scheme.
:D
