  • Death, Sex Money's episode with wingsuit nutter Jeb Corliss is worth your time.

  • Last week I binge listened to the whole first season of Serial after getting hooked on the first episode. Now started on the second season but I'm just not getting into the story as much. Is there anything out there similar I should try?

Edit: Ignore me, just seen Serial has its own thread

  • nurse
bbc radio 4 short comedy starring paul whitehouse
really nicely written poignant and hilarious

  • My Dad Wrote a Porno - have spent many a morning laughing loudly to this in Burgess Park

  • I just started listening to Accused. Very much sticking to the Serial format, The production is so similar it could almost be made by the same people, but I think its the best of the podcasts trying to copy Serial. Worth a listen for sure.

  • This guy tells a good yarn http://www.dancarlin.com/

  • +1
Hardcore History is the definitive history podcast. It should be in it's own category and not even be considered a podcast. The series on the Mongols is incredible, as is the one on WW1.

Another great one for history stuff is History on Fire by Daniele Bolleli. All of the one's he's done so far have been fascinating.

  • I'm enjoying The Dollop. Quite interesting stuff about people, things and events in American history, explained by a guy to his mate who's a stand up comic. It's pretty funny.

  • RHLSTP
Still Untitled: The Adam Savage project
    The BBC history Hour
    From Our Own Correspondent
    Bill Burr's Monday Morning Podcast
    The Adam Buxton Podcast
    99% invisible

  • Bill Burr. Bill Burr

  • Laaaaaddddiiiieesssss

  • Ah go fuck yourself

  • Think most of the ones I listen to have been covered. Maybe not these:

FiveThirtyEight weekly (Yank) politics podcast. Listen to them tell you they weren't wrong
How to be a girl. Lady chats about her trans daughter is getting on
Reveal. Investigative journalism type stuff. Interesting one about the Pentagon Papers
The Memory Palace. That voice. Or is it just annoying? Not sure.

  • The BBC history Hour

BBC Science Hour from the World Service is good too.

  • Oo top tip thanks

  • Homecoming is pretty intriguing. It's a scripted podcast with some pretty big names including Catherine Keener and Oscar Isaac. Up to episode 5 and the story is rolling along a lot more than I thought it would at the beginning.
Very much looking forward to the next episode.

  • Wish We Were Here. Some really interesting stories from Pikes Peak and around Colorado Springs

  • How does one download the UCI womens one? Not on iTunes podcasts...I don't think.

Edit: Doh. I don't know how to search apparently.

I don't have a particularly clear picture of the story and how characters fit. But, still enjoying it.

  • David Walsh on the last episode of the Moth Radio Hour

  • +1 for Dan Carlin.

  • Pertinent episode for anyone who had a brush with Lynchman.

  • This is good thanks for the recommendation!

  • Does anyone know of a good podcast or audio app-something that helps you do HIIT and various training things while you're on your bike outside. Like a spin class on the go in your ear type thing...

*realize this type of thing might be a safety hazard unless you're on an empty stretch of some sort with minimal to no traffic.
