  • Oh Hai

I'll keep an eye out (may DAS)

  • Yes I went past you I think. on the track part i think before the first gate.

  • We could have had an impromptu LFGGS peloton. Normally this week I've been on a purple fixed Peugeot but xmas shopping duties meant a change of steed today.

  • Totally overblown kitsch, but it works somehow. :)

  • LFGGS

    London Fortitude Green GenesiS? :)

  • That's what I thought. Crazy thing is, my new phone did it all for me. I think it is some google photos app feature. It sensed a nice picture and went to town on it. Personally, I'd lose the frame as it looks cack. There appears no way to provide this kind of feedback to my phone though. It operates in blissful ignorance of my thoughts.

  • This may have been me! I came off on london bridge on thursday some guy in a brixton cc jersey helped me up and got my buke to the pavement so thanks to whoever that was if you're on here? my back wheel just slid out as i crossed the white line.

I seemed to have it a lot better than 2 others though one guys face was real beat up and another who went down the same time as him coukdnt remember his last 10 minutes, nodder type went down as people were making sure I was alright.

  • Got taken out last night by a fuckin' dickhead who can't indicate or look in his rear view mirror. Just about to come up to the junction of Elgin Ave and Chippenham Road, I'm in the left hand lane as there aren't cars turning left, then some idiot comes from the right lane, into the left, without looking and takes me out... if he/she would've stopped and apologised it would've been fine but the driver just drove off... no real damage done, road rash on hoods and brakes levers... elbow and thigh will bruise up nicely as well. Been down to Paddington Green Station to fill a form out but didn't get the reg so I'm not holding out much hope of anything happening.

  • I slid down the road a little bit and I think someone else helped you up so could be.

Came back up the road and checked you (if was you) where alright and urged you to take a few mins to chill before you set off. Sound right?

Hope your good either way, didn't see anyone else come off but was dangerously slippery that whole week!

  • Hiya mate

twas me. hope your well mate.

As i was about to get back on the bike, another guy fell off

  • Ive never had anything like it! t'was nuts! (Though i've also not been an all weather cyclist until this summer)

Thanks for stopping and checking on me anyway, you certainly weren't that close behind me cus if you were my ninja roll* off the bike would have taken you out

@musa thanks so much dude! Im alrught, saw elbow and a couple of bruises/scuffs but thats all.
Thought you might be on here when i saw the jersey!

    *not ninja like at all

  • @Sparky has something changed in the road salt to make things more slippery this year?

  • @andyp class action against TfL?

  • Unclipped a few times putting power down/taking off at lights on the way home. Springs are are on their way out. Totally lost confidence putting power down. Trundle/10

  • Ah that reminds me, my right cleat (my unclipping for lights foot) unclipped from the pedal a few times. New cleats need to be fitted at the weekend.

  • Really bizarre one this morning. Heading down Camden Road (towards Camden) just before the junction with Camden St. White van about 15ft behind with a super loud rev of the engine. When i turn round/slow down to see whats going on he pulls along side me and says something like "still alive are ya?" - i didn't really say anything and then he said "you'll be dead soon, on that" (my bike i'm guessing.) Festive greeting/10

  • no worries dude. see you soon. Ive avoided LB up to now. plus with the works at stoke newington - its choka there

  • A23 strike and brixton accident carnage, so much filtering

Anyone know what happened? it looked like a bus went over a ped

  • yeah thats what the reports are saying - serious leg injury

  • GF saw it just after it happened...apparently very very nasty, a lot of blood. Thankfully the lady survived.

  • Must have run through a smashed bottle this morning through Greenwich - tire was peppered with shards. Came to stop only a few hundred yards from Cycle UK in Deptford. win/10
