  • Track slack are fine for track (obviously) but a bit risky on the road especially without a front brakes.

    My way is for the chain to look straight, but lots of movement up and down.

    Don't go too tight, it will accelerated wear and tear as well as binding the chainring, you can feel it when there's an obvious soft rihihihihihim feel from pedalling.

  • Ah OK, so it could potentially slip when you try to put resistance on the pedals to slow it down? May have to tighten mine as it will be getting an outing in the city soon!
