They wear out much faster, in a matter of weeks rather than months, and I've also gone and lost the left side one again as they don't seem to hold as well.

That seems to be an endemic problem of these covers..

I'm trying out some Time Xpresso pedals on my race bikes at the moment but for my next set of Keep on Kovers I'm going to use double sided tape or maybe superglue.
