Will do!

I don't have a pair (though also looking for one) -- but curious why the switch?
(I'm thinking about switching after an injury that's made it a bit difficult to rotate right ankle)

No real reason other than accidentally buying the wrong cleats a while back and then picking up some bargain pink stainless light action from 7ven... I'm also trying out some Look Keo Ti/Carbon while I wait for my keep-on-kovers to arrive...
I did like the speedplay zeros I had, I just didn't get on with my shoes so sold the lot as a package deal with a bike... -

Trying to figure out the physical differences between Zero and Light Action cleat covers. Seems like a relatively modular design between their cleats using the same metal covers. It seems that Speedplay produces two different covers.. The LA covers also provide room for the float adjustment screws found on the Zero and Pave so why have two models beyond livery?

No idea! I bought some £5 knock off walkable covers from J&L on eBay and they seem to work fine for both...

I got a pair of those too.. Cost less than the postage alone demanded by the KeepOn Kovers-- which are also "Made in China".. and increasingly less competitive than Speedplay's own take.. The rubber bits from the Chinese knock-offs and KeepOnKovers are all for both Zero and LA.. Speedplay, however, for their aero cleat covers, like with the coffee caps, seems to offer different versions for the Zero (multiple colours) and LA (gray).. Why???

It looks like the Zero cleats have longer adjustment screws, so probably need more of a cut out on the cleat cover.

I too have bought some of the £5 covers after loosing a second left side £30 official one. They wear out much faster, in a matter of weeks rather than months, and I've also gone and lost the left side one again as they don't seem to hold as well.

In the above photo. A := Zero, C:= LA. The Zero does indeed have the two float adjustment screws but the LA covers also have room for them.. The difference is really so minimal that it hardly would make sense to use multiple moulds.. especially without functional improvement since the design needs to be sufficient for the Zero and since the screws can adjustments on can't use them as part of the retention..
Attached picture of Zero cleat inserted into LA cover...

That seems to be an endemic problem of these covers..

I'm trying out some Time Xpresso pedals on my race bikes at the moment but for my next set of Keep on Kovers I'm going to use double sided tape or maybe superglue.
