Birmingham Bike Polo (Wednesday nights / Sundays - info in the thread)

I can play tomoz I think, but Hazza doesn't want to go back to Calthorpe at the mo and I agree. There are still a lot of fireworks about. Where else can we play in the dark though?

I'd be up for weekend daytime polo.

Perhaps we need to host another tournament for some winter polo?

Yeah that'd be good. Or we could pick an evening when we'll all be around to try and book JCC for a beginners night? I can't think of any other courts with lights.

Heyo, sorry I've been a bit off grid recently, how was the meeting? Are you thinking of a tournament? I'm guessing no polo tomorrow night??

Yeah, we've decided to leave Calthorpe for a bit as it's getting a bit frustrating with the other people there. It's really staggered and disrupted and just not that fun in this cold weather..

We're hoping to block book some sessions at JCC (where we held the tournament) so that we can have a regular place to play. This'll probably be the NY though. @Go_Kat - I can't remember, did you say you were going to ask about this? Or do you want me to? There was also talk of playing at cotteridge park at the weekends.

Realised I've been neglecting my duties, sorry! I can get in contact with JCC this week and find out about evening availability.

I spoke with Matt and Harry about this last night but I’m trying to put together a photo shoot of various groups from Balsall Heath in Moseley Road Baths so that people can show their support to keep it open (and MRB can have things to put on social media/ in a press release!) This includes Birmingham Bike Polo obviously so let me know if you want to come and have your photo taken, probably in mid-January. We can use the photos to recruit newbs too!
