I like to use Imgur because it's easy. I'm not sure how long they host images though

Tend to use Google photos as my phone sends them there anyway. Downside is trying to sort privileges and anyone can then see your Gmail details.

Forum opinion on best place to use for hosting images to post in here and similar places?
Your own domain is the only place you have proper control. Free image hosting (and free web hosting in general) is worth slightly less than what you pay for it.

Cheers, don't want to be paying for a service just to show off pics of my bikes so I'll struggle on with photobucket.
Or I guess I could use my tumblr...

A thought, would you not want a replacement via insurance/driver insurance if it got stolen/damaged? A new cheap bike make it easier to simply get a new bike than getting what you can out of a second hand bike.

^I would agree. It's a massive pain in the arse as there is no good way to rapidly search through your photographs, and getting the link is pointlessly annoying, but it works.

Yahoo? umadbro?

Use Flickr. Can upload to it using the phone app though posting to here using the phone might be a bit tricky. Its what I use though, a TB free storage, doesn't mess with compression and you can choose different sizes to copy the address for. Also can post them to flickr private and still embed here.

I was in Canada the other week and, when I searched for stuff in Chrome, it used google.ca
I'm now back in the UK but searches are still defaulting to google.ca. My location per chrome is London so it should be using google.co.uk.
I can't spot anything obvious in the help pages (they all just refer to your location being in the wrong place, not your location not matching up with the search engine). Any suggestion on getting it back to .co.uk

My mum wants to be able to play audio through her hifi without wires. She doesn't want to buy a new hifi or bluetooth speaker thing - just connect over wireless. It needs to work with iphone/pad/mac using itunes AND when I visit, I want it to work with Android using Google play/mixlcoud/Spotify stuff etc.
What are my options?
(I was thinking Chromecast, but they won't let you stream off itunes.)

A bluetooth receiver to plug into the hi-fi?
-
• #80796
Yes it gives you a link to report it and they can change their listing of your IP address so you're no longer auto sent to CA

I'd prefer not to use a bluetooth jobbie. Crap quality and using them annihilates the battery of whatever device you're using.

What is she using to play the music from?

Trad hifi amp/speaker setup with aux in.
Oh hang on - you mean device?
Mac things - iphone, ipod touch (is that what they're called?), and Macbook Air.
I'll be using Android stuff, ipad and my mbp. It's not a deal-breaker if I can't use it with an android, but given I visit her in Wales pretty regularly - I'd like it cope with both.

Used to use Photobucket but it's fucking useless now, get redirects on the phone site and the desktop site just keeps asking me to sign in.
