The solution I posted requires no preparation of the fork and given that the fork in question has more braze ons than I've had hot dinners anyway.
Hiding the wiring up the inside of the fork would be more functional, as it is there's risk it could get caught and torn out.

I guess. But as it is a Blue Lug bike, it might be a customer request..

how is the wire guide spoke attached at the top?

Ah well, functionality probably doesn't matter then, I get the impression that most of their bikes are garage queens.

In the case of the pic I posted I'm not sure, I don't think I could ever find a pic of the top.
I did it by creating a loop about half way up the spoke that bolted to the inner low rider mount.

Do like them Crust bikes, not so much the limp dick stem.

True, but the forks are absolutely perfect

As is the rack. Wish I had your skills so I could make myself one.
-
• #13742
I like the functionality of the rack, but the lines are all over the place.

I like that it frustrate OCD or minimalist types with excessive and unnecessary bends/material...

Agree. LD stem suits the funkyness imo. Also great for the drop bar setup

Very nice, but Gevanelle shifters on dirt drops seems an odd choice (not speaking from experience here, just speculation)

I don't think there's much options if one want's to have the clutch and bigger range of the mtb derailleur with drop bars, atleast with shimano. The other one would be to bodge a trigger shifter with bigger clamp or put it on a accessory mount in front of the bar, but that might interfere with the basket.
Good looking bikes on the last pages.

I'm selling up! Now that I don't live in London and don't do nearly as much road riding I think I'm going to sell the Straggler.
1) how much do people think it's worth?
2) I'm going to sell that porteur bag it's from Chrome and cost £80 if i remember. how much to people think it's worth?
Thanks!

What size is it? Might be interested!
I get it, if the fork is prepared for it - but this is the functional bike thread isn't it?
This seems like a perfectly functional solution.
Personally I'd prefer internal cable routing all the way.
