Haha yeah, if I remember correctly it was all you had left, truth of the story is I never really rode this frame and when I did I had the stock cover on because I didn't want to ride with my bearings all loose and dangling. I'm gonna start using it again and thought it'd be nice to pick up a more well dimensioned cover because stock covers are purile.
I'll get back with what depth it'll be, measure it again, do some thinking.
I was wondering whether getting a different branded headset might bring it down some, it's a campy hiddenset head tube with a token headset, surely the bearings they use are a standard size? maybe the compression ring could be less tall?
