I've heard, this one was actually stolen and recovered in the past. Since then it's been fitted with a second key/removable switch than when turned or removed cut's power to the starter motor.

Not the pimp ones specifically, all defenders... my insurance broker told me they were the third most nicked car in the country and no surprises considering you can remove the doors with an allen key from the outside without even fussing with the locks
very easy to strip down and resell, so much so that the insurance on a defender was double that of my G-klasse !

Looks great IR. Word of warning though, not sure if it was more to do with the newer chelsea tractor versions, but defenders were on a real hit list for getting nicked! If it's street parked take some precautions!
