I like this too, the "panorama mode", though these sprocket holes always look weird to me,
like an "effect" or a photoshop stunt, you know, it's a bit strange. -

Question for the Poundland Vista 200 veterans - is it any good on dull days? Thinking about taking some to Bologna this Christmas but part of me thinks 400 iso would be a better bet . (The Vista is just irresistibly cheap.)

I only really liked it with bright light and things (opposed to, say, people or sunsets).
Though it really depends so much on the light, and the scanning, among other factors.Just take a look on flickr for example, and see what people shot with it, and what it looks like / see whether you like it..

Stand developing some old Kodachrome 25 ISO as B+W tonight, doing a 1:100 Rodinal stand development..... no idea what to expect!

I expect I won't be doing it again, remjet removal is a farce!
Shot this in the Rollei.

Overcast days = strong colours. So if that's what you want to accentuate then yep.
Lots of shadows and light in a city like Bologna thought. Shoot B&W?
There is an Agfavista 400. I got a brick from fotoimpex. Not sure which or whose emulsion it is but it's fine (and 36exp and cheap as chips).

There's something about an image covering the perforations that makes me very happy.
Also, the structure of the bridge kind of mirrors the film in that one. Looks very cool.

After a bit of advice from those in the know:
I've shot a bit of medium format stuff on a Lubitel 166U over the years. I think I fancy an upgrade - it's leaking a bit, and things are slowly falling off it.
Doesn't have to be a TLR, and something fairly affordable is key (no money for Hasselblad/Rollei) but I'm a bit blinded by the various Mamiya/Pentax/Bronica options.
What's good for around £150? £200 at a stretch. I know I'm likely asking a lot, but have time to stalk ebay forever for a good deal :/

You could get a Rolleicord or a Mamiya 645 with that money.
I'd decide first whether I'd want 6x6 or 6x4.5 or 6x7..
Really like those two images man.
