SOLD: 1962 - 58cm Jensen of Croydon 531 DB Professional: Frame and Fork £130

I think this should end up back where it belongs.

It is in lovely condition. Original head badge in excellent condition.

Pencil rear stays.

Top tube : 58 cm, Seat tube : 58 cm, head tube : 16 cm. Rear stays 116 mm.

This is the Nervexed lug 531 double butted frame with Campagnolo drop outs. This was known as the Professional.

I'm pretty confident that these are the original wheels and GB handlebars. The wheels are in surprisingly good condition and the cassette is very smooth. The Campagnolo levers although not original to the bike are in good condition as are the hoods. I wouldn't get too excited about the chain set though. It's someones, but not my attempt to make it look better than it actually is.

Everything seen in the pictures comes with the frame and forks.

The frame is metallic brown and I'm not familiar with their colour schemes so I'm not really in a position to say if it has been repainted.

If I had to hedge my bets I would say it has been repainted but it's a good jo and I cannot see any traces of any other colour.

The Jensen in Gold is not a transfer it is actually sprayed into the paint and it is seemless so may be factory painted like this. Anyone got a more qualified opinion?

Well had a couple of answers and the consensus of opinion so far is it may be the original colour but there would have been another Jensen decal on the down tube that would have matched the head badge.

A more realistic £175 posted to standard UK post codes.

Reduced to £150 posted or £130 for just the frame and forks.
