  • It's basically finding the right balance, once you worn out your Open Pro, just get some nice wide Mavic A319 (or similar) to work best with the larger tyres.

    35mm and 13mm internal is not a great combination.

    Unless I crash again, that's not happening soon, only once in my life I had to replace a rim... I don't ride as many miles as most people here and it's split between several bikes.
    So I checked and I had dropped pressure at 55 psi, which is the minimum required for this tyres.
    Now up at 70, will see how it goes...
    Anyway, to the point, seems that slippery issue has nothing to do with tyres then... I don't remember the schwable road cruisers 35c I first had on that bike being problematic on that matter, and their max inflation was lower than the clement... confirms pressure is likely to be the reason...
