I'm afraid I'm not as tall as you though, haha
;)
@Turkish AAAAWWWWW YISSSSSS mackhubs@o2.pl is the email right?
I already built 3 wheels. One got stolen and 2 are running solid on my daily since 3 years. All 32h 3x though. Should be cool as long as carbon wheels are built the same way as normal wheels. If carbon is tough enough to hold up against reckless street riding, I'm in for it. I'm still afraid it'll be too much bling though.
Got the next bit thanks to @Elra! Thomson X2 100mm/10° in lovely condition!
Might be a tad too long (aesthetically at least) but I think it still suits it well
The wheels are a tough one. First choice: Mack low flange on 38mm china carbonz. Might not be the best choice for street abuse though.
Second: Mack low flange on Archetypes with 20f/24r. I'm superlightweight (61kg) so it shouldn't be a big deal but I'm still unsure. The wheels will see some pot holes and curbs so a higher spoke count should be the better way. But looks first!
You'll see me in the wheel building thread in the next few months I guess ;)
Biggest downer on this matter: Mack doesn't seem to be available anymore. Their site is down for over 4 straight months now and I really don't know any alternative. DT Swiss maybe?
Anyways, wheels should be the finishing part of this project. I like to buy small bits from time to time than saving up money for 2-3 months ;)
Cheers!
