More pix...
Possibly rear wheel is Sapim Race not Laser spokes. Wheels have been used outdoors with brakes — Koolstop Salmon blocks as recommended by IRD for these niobium-alloy rims — but wear is negligible except to the decals. Asymmetric rear rim gives almost perfect L/R spoke balance. All-up weight of wheel with tyre, cog, lockring, and tracknuts fitted is 1220 g.Pix of front wheel to follow — it's presently being used to hang the Cervélo on the wall.

Oh Slasher, I'm so sorry? Normally I have a gimlet eye for spellings.
Anyhoo. Tomorrow there will be daylight, and I shall take full-on pix of these wonderful track wheels which were damn costly. But I do not promise any 'cotton-bud action' such as practised by the blessèd Doctor D. I should of course have done this before resorting to macro mode.

Would you split?

You've got about £60 worth of IRD's rebranded Kinlin rims and Zipp hubs that no wheelbuilder has ever recommended to anyone and you want the fat end of £400 for them? Used?
-
• #23
whats wrong with those zipp hubs?
-
• #25
Oh mate, I was just about to ask to split and buy the rear then realised you were going for them. If you don't want, I might, but it's no biggie
Zipp T2 Track hubs on IRD Cadence Aero/VSR silver rims, 28/28 Sapim Lasers, very light, as new, new Schwalbe Ultremo ZX fitted, £375
Pictures on request. Wheels are in Kilburn NW6 or can meet in town.
