So. Fucking. Disappointed.
I couldn't work out why my pictures were all looking a bit shabby on the back of the camera, but I figured it was because most of them were in poor light. Then I just went through them in Lightroom and discovered that the settings in my camera must have been nudged and every photo this week has been taken on the "JPG basic" setting. I may as well have been using my phone :-( . Anyway...

I took some pics in Abney Park, which is my favourite local nature spot. And then got to thinking about how, in a city, the nature is not entirely natural and depends on the work of largely overlooked and badly paid people. So here's to them (and a nod to ewanmac who works in a similar field).

I've enjoyed the challenge this week. I've seen all sorts whilst scudding around the countryside, from the pikey horses on the firing range to the parakeet at the golf course (and unfortunately also a few dead foxes and swans). But the only creatures I managed to get a half decent shot of was this heard of highland cattle.
