Much commiserations to you and your bike. Glad you're ok-ish.

No-one is on it.
I won't be in a state to start doing this until next week.
Is anyone able to help out here?
The accident occurred precisely here:
https://goo.gl/maps/U7UwDbVG61T2There was a parked card in the marked bay, I was on the outside of that and the car that hit me side-swiped me by cutting in as he was overtaking. It felt very deliberate, he missed the parked car so close that I was scissored between the front corner of the parked car and the side of the dark hatchback that was overtaking. The passenger side wing mirror was just in front of my front wheel at the time that the car made contact with first the bike, and then me.
I believe the hatchback is approx 5-7 years old and either dark blue or black. The wing mirrors are distinctive, quite square, whilst the bonnet is quite low. It's a small hatchback, the driver will definitely have heard the impact, if not felt it.
It happened outside approx 105 Stamford Street, SE1 9NH.
The car had approached from behind, coming from Blackfriars Bridge direction, and we were both travelling Westward.
The driver sped off after momentarily slowing and definitely knew what had happened, he swung a left on Cornwall Road so as to not be stuck in the line of traffic leading towards the IMAX. He knew what he had done and was seeking an escape route.
My phone shows I called my friend to collect the bike at 20:17. The incident must have occurred at approx 20:14.

Basically... can I kinda crowd-source some assistance here?

Camera by the Thirsty Bear pub?
Not close enough for the incident. But may have ANPR and be able to put the vehicle at the scene?

LMAO.
I only have a couple, what's up with that? The couple I took last night aren't even good. Should've got a nurse to take them. Didn't even get my X-Rays.
I suck at this. Also... I might start riding with flip flops in my bag, walked out in socks.

Scary stuff......and glad to hear that your making a recovery.
Looks like he could have gone past the white hart on Cornwall Road? Happy to give them a call if that helps...can't see a camera but expect they would have to have one for licencing.

Surely that Nando's will have CCTV covering their entrance? That looks like the best bet.
I would offer to go to Stamford Street, but there's no way I can make it over that way today. Hopefully @stevo_com will have come luck.

The community centre probably has one inside facing at the doors out to the street too...

Ouch, David, this is scary stuff - really hope that you mend quickly and aren't hurting too much now. When is Fi back? Presume you have made contact with her?

I can't get down there today but I'm happy to help out with £10 CCTV admin fees that may need paying.

Can't you use the cloudflare secret botnet to grab all private webcam footage in the area ?😋
Get well soon bossman and fingers crossed for justice

Get well soon Boss.

In order to continue in their vague direction westwards, the only way out from Cornwall Road is via Alaska Street or Exton Street, so CCTV from those streets (perhaps also the White Hart on Cornwall Road) may have captured the escaping car.
Get well soon!

Heal up soon and let's get this cunt.
I'm happy to chip in on admin fees too.
Would the Coin St Centre have any outward facing cams that may have captured it?
If they went down Alaska St to get onto Waterloo Rd there's a camera on the Wellington pub pointing southbound that may have captured him?Do you think you will be able to narrow down the make of car and colour? What about the witness?
Also any cameras may be able to help track down the lorry driver who may remember something useful. -

Funnily enough, I was standing outside the White Hart all evening. There was very little traffic, but I did raise my eyebrows at the speed of one expensive-looking black car which raced down the road. Couldn't give any more useful details though.

Heal up bossman! Here's to a swift recovery and justice being served.

Buses also have CCTV, in case any were in the vicinity at the time...

Sorry to hear Dave.
Hope you are up and at 'em soon. -

When I read that was done in purpose I started to get all fainty and angry on your behalf .....
grrrrrrrrrr
Might be worth talking to the bus garage down by the Cut too re:footage
This is key. @Velocio is someone already on this for you? You'll need to identify and public or private CCTV from the scene and make a subject access request under the data protection act to all the companies get the footage. They'll need a time, location, and description of you, and will probably charge you £10 for the privilege.
I'd get this done sooner rather than later, and wouldn't rely on the police to do it as, errr, it's admin.
