    Don't tighten one side first then the other, it cause the wheel to move when doing so.

    Really? Just a fraction or a lot? I've been doing it like that for years and it has always worked well. I find it hard to get keep good chain tension while tightening both nuts up at the same time

  • Just a fraction, and it's not both side at the same time, just a small bit on one side, then on the other side, repeat, until it start to grip properly, then do it up tightly.

    I'll admit it easier with the bike on the workstand at work.
