Are there any firm dates set for Mitch? Closing of and opening of.

Just spoke to Dave.

They are currently putting temporary lines on the new court.

He's writing to the developer and copying me in to find out some firmer opening/closing dates.

I also inquired about hiring the space for an event. Dave was quite receptive to this and said it shouldn't be a problem, is sending me info on how to apply through their events channel.

So we can start planning Mitch 2.0's christening!

They said they're going to hold off from opening it up Mitch 2.0 for public use until after the Christmas break. They're due to start decommissioning the Mitch 1.0 in the second week of January.

That would suggest we should hold the wake for Mitch 1.0 sometime between Thurs 5th and Sunday 8th? Unfortunately, I'll be out of the country until Thurs 12, but I reckon the wake should happen the week before?

I'm in for this Thurs. Who else?
