Yes, still valid. If you can get them set up right, then cantis are superb. You don't need to worry about mud clearance (I doubt) so you should be able to run the pads relatively close to the rims and get good braking performance.

Nope, yes, its not a knocking in the head tube, its juddering from the pad rim interface itself. Problem disappears when using the old wheel.

Contaminated brake surface? Wipe with meths or even petrol and see if that (dis)solves it.

Over the TRPs? I'm not convinced with the Tektro stuff anymore. How did you find the MiniMotos?

MiniMotos are VERY powerful compared to revox carbon I had but then obv crosstop levers vs road drop bar levers too. Long pull vs short pull.

Tektro is TRP (literally, tektro racing products). Its just less flashy.

Raspberry Pi is what I have - it's very versatile if you have files on NAS/networked drives. Not good if you want Netflix/Amazon as they don't play nice with linux, but will do ITV/BBC/4oD.

CRM. What's that all about? We use no CRM here but are relatively small - 3 full time with others ad-hoc. 80% of our work is from close relationships with creative agencies and recurring on a project by project basis. 20% is direct client some recurring, some one-offs. I'd like to up our game next year and want a way to keep track of who we approach, their contact details, some place for notes etc. At the moment I have a fairly jumbled Google Sheets doc. Presume there is a better way? We use Zoho for invoicing and I did try their CRM as a kind of digital rolodex last year briefly but didn't get very far with it - there seemed to be far too many options for my relatively simple requirements (or am I not getting that there is plenty of worthwhile stuff to do with it?)

For small biz there are plenty of options out there. The challenge with CRM is keeping it all up to date and then actually doing something with the information. If you don't make it part of your sales cycle then it is just a rolodex. Buy according to how you WILL use it, not about how you THINK you will use it, otherwise you'll just spend too much.

Advantage of a Rolodex is that it's a non-proprietary, non-subscription service with a great deal of portability.

What do you weigh? I'd start at 60 (4 bar) and work down with a 35C tyre, and I doubt that you're heavier than me. I have a feeling I might end up at 3 bar front and 3.5 bar rear.

Yes, open pros... And I suspect the Clement to be on the large side of 35c... It doesn't look silly though, pretty much every MTB in the 90s looked like that (ratio rim / tire widths)
