I've literally just got back from riding in the woods next to Frylands, and it's very, very dry. Loads of leaves down, which makes spotting obstacles difficult, and there was a bit of mud on my route home (a long bridleway that can get impassable in winter due to mud and horse hooves) but it was that claggy, drier stuff which sticks to everything.
There is a chance of rain between now and Sunday but it's not going to be the mud fest it was last year.
