Which reminds me how you think the weather options at the end of this year between Oostend and Turnhout; sunny no frost tailwind?

Heh, could be all sorts of ridiculous end of year I think.
Has been fairly unpredictable last couple of weeks. Icy cold now but wind is turning to a pleasant southern breeze which would bring temps up to 10°C but with chances of rain. Last couple of years have been fairly mild and wet round years end. So biggest chance on something like that.
Wouldn't count on tailwind, mostly SSW wet of freezing NNE. Pick one.

I run 28c GKs on my SS commuter, have been riding icy and wet cobbles the last few days in Ghent without problems. Would buy again.
