This sort of thing is done every once in a while by insurers, and is usually nonsense. They use population figures as their comparison, seemingly ignoring that levels of cycling in Hackney are much higher than elsewhere in London:

Hackney anymore, population figures aside, having spent 20 years in the borough and having had 9 + bikes and or components stolen - the figures don't pan out in my favour.....and I'm pretty vigilant with my locks etc.
