Why not stick with the Contis?

Lol no. The contis are great summer tires but they are never going to get me up a cobbled climb in April. Last year I rode Vittoria open paves, which were very grippy but very fragile

Have to says I been using GP4000sII as a winter tyres too, it work great in the winter as well, and reasonably tough (rode them in london's famous London).

They will, I've used them for exactly this purpose.
