Velo Orange pass hunter. Hoping the cable can pass through the gap between the fork crown strut of the rack and the mudguard, will probably have to measure it but I wondered if anyone has first hand experience.

Okay, the mini v's cable likely to sit just above the mudguard (or the little rubber plug rubbing on the mudguard, but then if you have mudguard, you won't need that part), so in theory there's enough room between the rack mount and mudguard for the mini v.
It may be best to take it to a reputable LBS for them to see if it's possible with their mini v, and if it's not, no labour charge needed (least that what I do).

Just what rack do you have? mini v should clear the mudguard but cannot comment on the front rack.
