Got a couple of big frames that I've unfortunately decided to part ways with.
First up has been one of my faves for a while, but I just haven't been riding it. It's a 80s/90s Mercian Audax frame made with Reynolds 531 Competition tubing. Although it's an audax frame, clearances are relatively close, and takes regular drop brakes, and a max of 25c tyres with mudguards.
Condition is really nice, with no dents, just the usual cable rub marks. Worst of all is a chip in the right hand seat stay (pictured). Paint is absolutely lovely, with a sort of flamboyant fuchsia fading to metallic silver. So nice. All threads perfect.
Seat Tube 62cm c-t, 60.5cm c-c
Top Tube 57.5cm c-c
Head Tube 19.5cm
Wheelbase 98-100cm
Rear Spacing 130mm
Weight (F&F) 2.9kg
£̶3̶0̶0̶ £265 ono
Second is a pretty wicked J.F. Wilson road frame made from Reynolds 753 tubing. Sticker says renovated, so I assume it's been resprayed at some point with this awesome smokey paint. Like most other Wilson frames I've seen, it's lovingly plastered in Wilson decals, which I think are kinda awesome. Has some nice features like a Cinelli BB shell and Suntour rear dropouts.
Paint is pretty tatty in places, with a bit of surface rust showing through, but there's no dents. Comes with a cartridge bearing M-Part headset. All threads perfect.
Seat Tube 62cm c-t, 60.5cm c-c
Top Tube 57cm c-c
Head Tube 20.5cm
Wheelbase 97-99cm
Rear Spacing 130mm
Weight (F&F) 2.6kg
SOLD
Both frames can be viewed at Fitzrovia Bicycles, 136-138 New Cavendish St, W1W 6YD
