Genesis volare 853 frame and fork 54 cm
400 pounds inc postage
bought off ebay 6 months ago and ridden up and down the Yorkshire dales throughout the summer, the fella i bought it off says he'd hardly ridden it, i'd hazard a guess at only about 2000 miles use in total. lovely frame, very stiff and responsive for steel. unfortunately the fit's a bit aggressive for my dodgy back, need to be on a 56cm really so this needs to go to make way for something bigger.
Condition is very good, a couple of scuffs in the usual places but nothing major, there is a tiny ding in the down tube but its so small you can barely see it, see last pic.
the fork has carbon blades and an alu steerer, its not the enve fork that came with the volare if bought as a frame only, if the extra 200 grammes bother you that much I'm willing to sell as frame only, pm if interested
vital stats:
this is what genesis calls a 54 cm but the virtual tt is actually bang on 55cm, 51cm seat tube, with a headset fitted the headtube is about 15cm long, chainstays are 41cm, and the seat angle is pretty steep at 74 degrees. basically low and long proper race geometry for the more flexible rider, this would build up into an ace crit machine.
Inclued: frame, fork, bb86 bearings, headset (not installed and needs a new lower bearing) and seatclamp
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
