  • Despite its age this is an amazing race bike, light, stiff and with a rad paint job. Only selling to fund a new project.

    Size 58, geometry:

Frame: Caad7 Optimo Tubing handmade in the USA. Still one of the lightest aluminium frames ever made at 1.2kg. Integrated 1 1/8 headset, BSA BB. Painted in Sobe colours with a green/yellow fade: green on the sides, yellow on the front/top/bottom of tubes. Super rare and striking in this colourway

Condition: It's quite old now and shows signs of use but has not been abused. I've used this as a crit bike for 2 seasons but not for training or road rides so it's seen relatively few miles under me. I bought it from an old guy who'd had it from new. He said he found it too stiff so used his ti bike most of the time however he'd fitted clip-on mudguards to this which has caused rubbing to the paintwork on the frame and forks. There's also some bubbling on the rear brake bridge and some scratches to the paint along the chainstays.

More pics: hopefully giving a good account of the condition and awesome paintjob
