@TM seeing that Kumo in the functional thread the thought did cross my mind, but as much as I loved my Walvale portuer it's got to be drops for long days in the saddle personally. Find the wrists can start to hurt without having multiple hand positions.
@Skülly U WOT M9? A SON would be lovely, but realistically don't ride enough in the dark to warrant the expense/weight of a dynamo. Personally I like the simplicity of 'normal' lighting where you can quickly take it off. Will be interested to see if this build changes that!
I was touring in France with bars like tm suggested. It was great, my back had zero problems unlike with drops previously. Just need some ergo grips or the like to support your hands and wrists.
Re: knurled spacers, not sure I just fancy they'd look good.
