  • @kjlem Yeah, I'm not ready to love them yet, too
    @JamesQGM Hah, I mean it though! I really lack in money right now :(
    @Alphaone Thomson yo! Even if they are quite standard nowdays. And I'm not a digger for the 75DD, the bolts on the NDS arm and the huge axle look whack.
    @badmanlongtime I'll match the color scheme ;)
    @Dogs I'm struggling a bit with the wheels. I really wanna go for 20f/24r and some 38ish carbon rims but it doesn't seem very practial. Next option is 20f/24r Archetypes but again, I don't know how cool that is with the streetz. Won't be a racing/velodrome build.
    @Thuekr Exactly that picture was one of the biggest triggers for me! Hands down the best build of the 2014 Histo. I'm afraid I'm not as tall as you though, haha

    I built a pair with the rim braked version which are 40g heavier, onto Ridea hubs (road front and high flange fixed rear) with 20f/24r revolutions. First build in 20 years and they went together very easily, except for watching out for the revolutions winding up. First ride out had a pheasant fly into the front wheel and ended up decapitating it 😂 local roads are quite ropey with plenty of potholes and patch repairs. They haven't needed any work since building.

    1033g front with rimstrip, 23mm GP 4000 and Schwalbe innertube (Not including skewer)
    1278g rear as above, with 16t cog and included lockring and allen bolts ready to ride
