I'd go for a single bottle of either
Arberlour 18 year (£73 on Amazon), Glenfarclas 25 yr (£90 on Amazon) or Balvenie 21 year
or get a couple of bottles like the Glenfarclas 15 and Balvenie 14 caribbean cask (which I'm enjoying rn)

Personally I'd go for the Glenfarclas 25 year - as it's unlikely most people would spend £120+ on a bottle and I was up at the distillery earlier in the year

Looking forward to Christmas with the family.
My dad loves The Macallan. -
• #2285
Holy shit, how many of you are sharing that? Can I join you?
-
• #2286
He only opens one bottle at Christmas and shares it around the 6 of us.
Hope it's an 18, that stuff is amazing. -

So tonight I'm drinking the £13.50 Black Bottle, there are better Islay whiskies, but not at that price.

Looks like it has gone bad. Better send it to me.
Vintage House has some crackers in the Christmas sale. Might have to go along and add to my collection.
At the moment I'm about to crack open a Gordon & McPhail Cask strength 1998 Clynelish that I forgot I'd bought.
