They've already spent loads of cash compared to the championship, it's pretty much a Premier League team and probably the best squad any team has had in the championship.

As is something of a tradition there will be drinking.
Forum Football Xmas Drinks. The Lamb on Lambs Conduit Street. Thursday 15 December.
The place is so busy cannot even reserve an area. But we can go along and get pissed there.
Hope some of you rotters can get along.

The sheriff cracking the whip about Spurs playing at Wembley if we nab the first of the losers Europa league spot..
Saying we'll be playing there all next season league and cup games so best to get used to it sooner rather than later. Can't have a poor season next time round and blame it on wembley not feeling like home... -

with him and lalalanana out we lose a lot of our creativity, hope that doesn't cost us too dear
hope divoc gets a run in the team now, he deserves it after his initial spell last season which was ended by that nasty everton playerinitially frustrating today, i forsaw a second 0-0 draw on the trot after that first half, queue the relief when origi hit that beauty

Still unbeaten under Brucey. 3 points off the playoffs. This is better.

FFS Tottenhan!
I'm thinking Ashley will have learnt his lesson with his management team sending Newcastle into the Championship, and Benitez, has wrested enough control to make sure the club will be run his way rather than Ashley's.
Of the teams that have or will come up, Newcastle (with Benitez there) are one who could leave a mark.. Not sure about winning the league, but spending big to get into the top four-six isn't beyond them.. And Benitez loves a cup game, so Champions League entry via Europa League win doesn't seem that far fetched...
