would a stages 105 5800 crank work with ultergra 6800 crankset? https://www.evanscycles.com/stages-shimano-105-5800-g2-EV261153

I have both and the ability to swap and pay £100 less would be awesome.

Might work but you'd need to recalibrate it each time you swap do allow for differences in stiffness.

Thread on STW about how an attempt to do that with XT/XTR is proving a ballache. Without trying it's a risk.
Recalibration is no issue - easy on a Stages.
