I think (it was) you mentioned your Gerber about this time last year. Santa got me one and it has been invaluable since then.

Geber is so useful, the fact that you can chuck and replace the blade is great. I recommend Stanley FatMax as they're a heavier weight.

It was you..... I also did the FatMax thing when the need arose and I've only slashed one fingertip in almost a year of use.

I love the patina on this especially the dirt inside the debossed area. Would make a good present an even better present. I love all engraving or stamping (moleskin print gold letters onto the front of their leather bound notebooks in store)

The FatMax folding knives are brilliant because you don't need any tools to swap the blade, or to get into the blade holder. The lock is good and they have a decent clip. They're ugly but if you (the indefinite you, not you personally) actually use your tools, rather than just taking meticulously-arranged photos of them to post online, you won't care.

40p, 7 day old hanky, nokia 3310, keys to my sordid grief hole.... oh and a massive gun and some knives and everything's got it's own leather case and stuff.

I've carried a Swiss Army knife everyday for the past 36 years, it sees regular duty for cutting my finger nails and breaking down boxes, acting as a screwdriver and opening bottles. I have also murdered 58 people with it.
