Geoffrey Butler badged blue and white steel track frame, seat tube 56 cm centre to top, Top tube measures 56 cm c-c. The paintwork is in very good condition barring a few minor chips. Front wheel is a large flange Shimano hub, stainless steel double butted spokes, Mavic GL 330 tubular rim with a Vittoria Pista CS tubular tyre. Rear wheel is a large flange Normand hub, chrome spokes, Mavic GL 330 tubular rim with a Vittoria Pista CS tubular tyre. The rear spokes are still shiny but are just beginning to show signs of discolouration. The crank set is 170 mm Shimano 600, MOST Cougar saddle, Specialized seat pin, Cinelli stem, and Cinelli Criterium 65-40 bars, scratch marks on left side of collar. Bike without pedals weighs just over 7 kilos. The bike has been ridden at both Newport and Herne Hill tracks and in many club track championships. The bike was originally converted from a time trial fame by Roy Manser, well known Kent frame builder, as evident by the single brazed on cable guide under the bottom bracket and the holes drilled in the bars for bar end shifters. Bike not been used for a few years, now I need the garage space. £250. Pedals are not included in the sale.
Collection preferred otherwise buyer arranges for collection and delivery, probably in the region of £30.
