I have a big ride in June but November chilly :( maybe I will have forgotten that by then.
Re the drop ,the disadvantage for Southerners is local knowledge.
IIRC the Karrimor mountain marathons used to keep the location a secret until just before the event- they could be anywhere in the country, to prevent recces

Number saved for 2017, June or Nov though? Lining up both I reckon but cutting down what I carry by lots.
