Have you increased the spring tension in the rear derailleur?
I've done this to my di2 derailleur and it's worked perfectly so far, I also did the same thing when running a shimano cable derailleur last year and it was problem free

Thats pricey .. half the price of a XT di2 rear mech.
Its Di2 .. chain has dropped once and I don't even CX, chain is correct length, I just want to safeguard it. Part of me wishes I went with XTR Di2 but its mad pricey. XT is more palatable but a chaincatcher would be a cheap fix hopefully.
