Very much in awe of the courage that Andy Woodward and Steve Walters have shown in coming forward to tell their stories about the abuse they suffered. Daniel Taylor also deserves a huge amount of praise for his work and sensitive writing on the story, when other journalists would rather concentrate on football players visiting lap dance clubs.

Yeah, this is a horrible story. I grew up in Northwich and went to see Crewe a few times, and Northwich Victoria most weekends. Stevie Walters is a hard bastard, and this makes me think that to an even greater extent.

Massive respect for them for coming out with this, it must have been awful to experience and then revisit but having the strength to be open about it will be helping a lot of others.

Gutted we should have had enough to get out of this group, didn't look like we wanted it enough, not enough fight or pressure or composure.
I'm chalking it up to inexperience, and this being the first time that the Sheriff got it wrong, in terms of personnel and rotation, feels like the squads a bit thin, and trying to balance the league and Europe when you've got important must win games back to back has undone them. No point in qualifying for the champions league of you don't take it seriously, and it was the two losses at Wembley that done for us...
Not sure how we'll react against Chelsea, who are flying, but the manager is going to need to generate a reaction, otherwise the media and laysupporter pressure will start to grow...
